We collect information you give us directly:

• ✦Account details — name and email address (via Clerk authentication)
• ✦Profile details — date of birth, birth location, relationship status, occupation, and life focus areas (optional, used to personalise your readings)
• ✦Reading content — the questions and concerns you write when requesting a reading
• ✦Payment details — processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number
• ✦Journal entries — if you use the journal feature and opt in to sharing them with Ava

We also collect standard technical data: IP address, browser type, and pages visited — via PostHog analytics.

Your information is used only to:

• ✦Prepare and personalise your readings
• ✦Deliver your reading by email
• ✦Process payments via Stripe
• ✦Send Ava's monthly letter, if you have opted in
• ✦Improve the service through anonymised analytics

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Readings are generated using large language model AI (Groq / LLaMA). Your concern and profile details are sent to the AI to generate your reading. This data is processed under Groq's data processing agreement and is not used to train their models.

Readings are stored in our database so Ava can reference your history in future readings, if you have consented to this. You can withdraw this consent at any time from your profile settings.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Reading content is retained indefinitely to support your reading history unless you request deletion. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@avahamilton.com.

You have the right to:
